    This extraordinary Huipil was
    Handwoven
    on a
    Backstrap Loom
    in the community of
    San Bartolo Yautepec
    on the coast of
    Oaxaca
    by a very talented weaver, Matilde Hernandez.   The intricate patterns are all woven into the fabric and not
    embroidered.   Look closely at the detail photos, you will see deer, birds, plants, corn as well as geometric patterns.
    The colors in this
    light weight 100% cotton
    top are shades of Blue and Turquoise on a Cream Color base fabric.
    It measures; 23 1/2 inches wide (47 inches around) and 27 inches long.  It will fit a Medium Size Woman.
