Please note
:  This is a Repair Service for your existing malfunctioning amp plate.  You send us your malfunctioning amp plate and we repair it and send it back to you.  It is
not
the outright purchase of a new or used replacement amp plate.  You will receive back the same amp plate that you send to us, only repaired/rebuilt and updated, and functioning as new.  Please read this description in its entirety before purchasing especially the information regarding Revision 1 and Revision 2.
Extremely Important - Please read and understand this before you purchase:
There are two versions or revisions of the PB12 that were manufactured by JBL.  While they look nearly identical from the front of the faceplate, they are totally different in design and the internal circuit board is totally different.
The Revision 1 amp plate is not repairable because it was designed using a power amp module that cannot be repaired because it is sealed in epoxy.  This module is failure prone and is almost always the problem when the amp goes bad.  The module is no longer manufactured and no replacement parts are available.  When you look at the circuit board of this version of the PB12 you will see this module mounted upright on the circuit board and labeled either S54AMI or S64AMI.  If you see a module labeled S54AMI or S64AMI, your amp plate is not repairable.
Do not purchase this repair service if you have Revision 1
.  If you purchase this repair service and you have a Revision 1 and you send it to us, we will send it back to you and refund your money less a return shipping and handling charge.
The Revision 2 of the PB12 uses a totally different design and is easily repaired.  ElectroNetix has repaired thousands of them.  Before purchasing the repair service for the PB12, you will need to determine which Revision that you have.  The Revision 2 of the PB12 has a serial number that begins with “HA”, and the circuit board will look like the one shown in the second photo.  If you have any uncertainty about this, you can send us a couple photos of the circuit board from the top and bottom and we can tell you which version you have.

In addition to repairing the specific reason your amp is malfunctioning, our standard flat rate service includes:
Rebuilding your unit by replacing the most fault prone components with components with higher reliability and temperature specifications
Performing the latest circuit updates
Correcting a number of other design faults that lead to degraded performance and premature failure
One of the frequent failure modes of this amp is burning on the circuit board.  As a preventative measure, we will correct the design defect that causes this even if your amp has not yet experienced it.
You will receive back a “baggie” of all the components replaced in your unit.  Your repaired unit should have better performance and significantly higher reliability than when it was new.
Note that you will pay the shipping charges to us, but our repair charge includes shipment back to you.  This repair service at the advertised cost is for continental US customers only.  We will be happy to service other customers, but please request a quote first on possible additional return shipping charges.
