    Description

    This is a beautiful hand embroidered Huipil from the
    Mazatec region of Huautla de Jimenez, Oaxaca.   This is the same community that
    Maria Sabina (Mexico's most famous "curandera" / Shaman) came from.
    This medium weight cotton / Manta all hand embroidered in
    Various Shades of Orange and Reds on White / Cream 100% cotton fabric.
    It measures 24 1/2 inches wide (from side to side –total 49 inches around) and 44 inches long.

    his huipil will fit a Medium to Large size woman.
    The embroidery on the front and back of this dress are identical (see photos).
