    This is a rare August 11th, 1952 "Playgoer" playbill from the
    four-week, out-of-town tryout of the
    E. Y. HARBURG, FRED SAIDY and SAMMY FAIN musical "JOLLYANNA" at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco, California. (This was a revised version of the musical flop "FLAHOOLEY" which had opened May 14th, 1951 at New York's Broadhurst Theatre and closed after only 40 performances. "JOLLYANNA" opened August 11th, 1952 in San Francisco and closed the following month at the Philharmonic Auditorium in Los Angeles, failing to arrive in New York.) .....
