Description

Up for auction is a rare Crown Ducal biscuit jar in an Art Deco pattern.
Delightful piece.
It is my understanding that the outline for the flowers were print under glaze and the flowers
were then hand enameled.
Blue and yellow flowers with green leaves.
The piece is 6.5 inches tall and 7 inches across.
There is a basketweave handle with a strip of blue woven in.
Made in England
The pattern is Elesmere.
Marked as shown in the photo.
No cracks, chips or crazing.
As shown in the ninth photo there is a skip to the deeper blue line circling the top.
Clean interior.
